Let me tell you, if I had been gay, my dance card would have been full. I think some people assume that if you spend a few months at sea without women, you automatically become gay. That song by The Village People didn't help, either. Nor, I suppose, did having my nickname (Headman) tattooed on my arm. (Whatever you may be thinking, it means something else.)
