consistently thwarting the laws, over-stepping the laws, using the laws for their advantage, not respecting the will of the people, not protecting nor serving- I imagine there are law enforcement folk who have integrity, compassion, and understand their true role in society, BUT, most law enforcement I deal with are metaphorically akin to bullies on a playground- and then they steal the sick kid's medicine.
