#2 Beersmith vs Promash
Most of the debate here surrounds Promash and Beersmith. ( see link). I think Beersmith is getting the upperhand because it is being contionuously developed. Beertools is also getting some attention.
AS mentioned above, a cheap alternative is to us one of the on-line recipe programs(see second link) Just depends how much you want to tweak your recipes
