yeah, this was the zenith of Hardly-Ableson evolution.

as far as anything newer goes, let's face it: Hardlies don't qualify as actual motorcycles; they're two-wheeled agricultural implements. crap acceleration, piss-poor braking, and can't corner worth spit; ridiculously over-priced, to boot.

the only engineering innovation the Hardly factory has ever come up with was the modern (plastic) belt drive, which I'll acknowledge has its merits; but it's what now -- 20 years old?
