... not the other way around. If you aren't happy with what's being portrayed in the media, start by changing the world.

Hey i have a different view don't you agree there are many things that would never have spread thought out the world so fast if it hadn't been for movies?

There is definitely a cause to believe that the media has influence on the masses and if it did not there would not be a place for advertising in this world. MTV and other media groups have whole departments created just to examine and determine what people will buy into next, and of course it works through the television. Most of the world though is willing and waiting for the next trend or idea to be sold to them. It is hard not to recognize it when you step out of the house.

The military does exceptionally well with recruitment because of the huge force of advertising. The military advertises in commercials, movies,games and in rock videos played before movies.
