today society preaches tolerance, but society is intolerant of different people- people who smoke, like different music, difference in taste, different opinions.

If we're all supposed to be tolerant for our differences, then why are there people fake-coughing loudly when someone lights up, or other people making derogatory remakes about people of different skin color, or different appearance?

How is not wanting to breath in someone's second hand smoke being intolerant? I wouldn't say racism is a sign of intolerance, it's a sign of bigotry, racism and idiocy but not really intolerance.

Also when posting an answer you'll note people on here generally add a topic image, it doesn't have to be relevant to your answer but it's preferable. So could you please add an image to go with this answer, if you don't know just ask, I'm sure someone will help you out.
