Anyone who knows me would not expect me to say this but... I don't believe equality exists. And if it did exist it might be something that would turn into an undesirable state of uniformity as illustrated in the films Harrison Bergeron, 1984, or Equilibrium.

However... personally? I don't have a strong desire for security, which I think is a healthy thing. Since it keeps me from investing blindly into methods or institutions, which could be objectionable in order to preserve my way of life.
I would give up my personal wealth. But only if there were no leaders, and if everyone else did it also. Unfortunately this would turn into a playground for sinister people, and those who have a strong desire to control.
