God talks to us through our senses, through our "gut instinct," through those who try to steer us straight. God speaks to us through poetry, through literature, through the understanding of others. Yes, God uses th ebible, but not ONLY the bible. Otherwise, babies and illiterates would never be saved. God uses ALL His creation to explain the splendour of His ideas to us. It's up to us to hear. Our hearts know the truth...
