Beat is definitely an unsung Crimson projeKct. Some reviewers have called it their worst album ever. I think the poetry of the Belew lyrics on "Neal & Jack & Me" is one of most beautiful examples in rock history. The stick solo by Tony Levin on "Sartori In Tangier" is very sexual, at turns tense or full of the release of orgasm.
What a scat-o-logical review Bansai!
I don't know if it's exactly the best album but is at least one of my favorites and positively full of memories to me.

I'm sure you probably meant scatological in a good way. Thanks for the compliment, Pol!
