Not all real snowflakes are "hexagrams". The most basic form of a snow crystal is a hexagonal prism.

What the hex!?
Yeah, I didn´t know this either until I looked it up.
The prism is not REALLY a FLAKE. When I have more time I'll look into this hexagonal phenomenon. It's an interesting characteristic.
