Judgmental much?
At the age of 27, I have been working for 10 years, smoking for the last 8 of them. I have been employed, full time, for the entirety of that. I also started and finished college during that span.
What's your vice?
Working a drive-up window at the local McDonald's may count as a job to you, but where I'm from, we hold ourselves to a little higher standard. I'm sure that BA degree is paying off in dividends as well (of course, that's me assuming you couldn't grasp the concepts to acquire your BS). Cheers ;-)
Actually, I've been working full time as a computer technician for the last 8 years and have gotten multiple certifications along the way, so you can go fuck yourself and your assumptions.
don't feed the trolls, chromi
HuweD,
Weed is not bad for you. Think of it like green tea.
HuweD - you are a perfect horror and I dislike you very much. It would be better for the world if you had the tact to die.
chromigula,
Look...apparently this is a pretty Liberal site, my bad. Maybe they should rename it to Grupthink for Liberals.
I'm curious on the conversation you will have with your kids on the use of marijuana. Will it be acceptable for your children to smoke? If so, at what age? Yes, I was very harsh in my topic choice, I apologize for that. If you wouldn't mind telling me more about your views, I would be interested.
What are your views on marijuana as being a "gateway drug"?
Apparently you feel that it is a "vice". Since you asked me what my vice was, I assume (I know, go fuck myself and my assumptions) you consider this yours.
I do have several (around 10) friends that smoke frequently. I personally feel that it limits them when it comes to motivation and drive. Some of them are quite brilliant, yet feel they could achieve more if they were to quit smoking. It is there "choice", but it is also illegal where I'm from.

This plant here is cannabis. Some people use it for medicinal benefits, others recreationally. When you're an adult, you can choose for yourself whether or not you find the benefits of using cannabis to outweight the costs.

As someone whom I would presume is fine with the moderate use of alcohol, would it be appropriate for me to imply that this also means you think children should drink?

Did you know that 99.6% of felons in the US prison system today have at one point in their life read passages from the Bible?

Isn't that the beauty of personal liberty, though? We get to choose for *ourselves* whether or not the value an intoxicant provides us with is worth any (real or perceived) drawbacks it may have.

Illegal ≠ wrong
