The Loft offers a great variety of entertainment with very little to offer besides. The staff is changing with Damon no longer their in house booking agent, and Chris Torma no longer managing. Also Brad's lighting has been removed recently leaving a much different atmosphere.

The owner of the building has begun to take a bigger role in the business and is fumbling to make it work. We will see over time how it succeeds. With the Badlander opening soon, my guess is that the Loft will loose a lot of business.

The Loft is not handicap accessible. The toilets need attention. The women's door is missing and commodes are usually out of order. The lighting is offensive in the restrooms and hallways. The cheap chairs/tables are not inviting, and where are the other bar stools?

They serve cheap table wine sold for $5 per glass when the whole magnum bottle costs less than $10 across the street at Worden's. Might as well go purchase the bottle yourself and bring it into the Loft.

They can do better.

After last night's Busdriver show, the Loft is now closed.

They give a reason why? The turnout was always pretty good, at least when I was there...

This is also the LOFT'S LAST SHOW - truly the end of an era, I'm very sad to see it go, good luck to Craig on his endeavors in PDX. The Loft was an awesome space that was there when nothing else was, and we will always honor the memories. A very wide variety of awesome culture went down there that wouldn't of happened otherwise, and I am personally very grateful for it's existence.
