You change the world one person at a time, and the first person is you. You change yourself one habit at a time, and the first habit to change is the feeling that you can't change.

Think global, act local: change your own life. If you smoke, stop it; if you eat unhealthy food, stop it, and so on...

Lead by example and be honest with yourself. There are thousands with similar values let them gravitate to you.

From my own experience with this question I've found that the statement "I want to change the world" is NOT specific enough. I've found it to be more a feeling that leads to some sort of action or escape. Of course you are on the right track to ponder this, AND even type it in public.

If I were in your shoes, now I would ask myself a more specific question about WHAT to change.
