Yes, he does and he is - but he doesn't fill the height requirement. (He was my pick before Hayden Christensen.)
i don't think he looks like Rand...
that picture makes me think more mat lost in thought than Rand...that might just be me though. i doubt he'd be a good mat, has too serious of an attitude, but nor do i think he fits Rand, and ya he is a good bit short for rand.
it's very important that Rand, Perrin and Mat has perfect actors and this guy just don't fit in the role as anyone of them. Maybe he could play Dannil or some one else not so important.
He's got the perfect "strong" Rand face, and he looks very wild with long hair; seeing as how Rand is descended from Aiel, very darkskinned and red haired, almost a sort of native american look to his face, and heath ledger reflects that. the height could be an issue though. rand is TALL. and manly.
HE WOULD'VE BEEN THE BEST EVER. HE WOULD BE PERFECT. HE FITS IT IN EVERY WAY. AND I LOVE HIM
