UIRA (UIRA Isn't a Recursive Acronym) is the new name of a former existing project Flash4Linux.
The team changed the name for several reasons :
- Flash is a Macromedia registered tradmark
- UIRA had begun a complete redesign of F4L
- UIRA will be available under several platforms
UIRA is actually the name of a ligthning god of Maori's, this name had been heavily hard to find anymway.
