Answer for: What's the most memorable wine you've tasted?

by Il Palazzone. I first had this as part of a Brunello tasting at the Enoteca la Fortezza in Montalcino. I don't know that I can really describe it, but it was smooth, balanced, and the most delicious red I've ever had. I can't believe I only brought one bottle home with me. I'm not likely to have it again unless I make a return trip, but it does look like the winery has a U.S. distributor now - http://www.ilpalazzone.com/index.htm.
