When I was a teenager, I used to have several Wicca books, but my mom kept throwing them away. After the 3rd time of replacing them I just gave up. It pissed me off more that she was going through my room. She would leave the pot but throw out books on Wicca. She should have been more worried about the pot.

Wicca has been a part of my life for 27 years now, and I have been invited to be the main entertainment at BBQ's down in the south.

Ah, the old Wiccan traditional "Run While They Chase You With Bibles" ceremony. Classic.

Cædite eos. Novit enim Dominus qui sunt eius.
Translation: "Slay them all. God will know his own."
Variation: "Kill them all. Let God sort them out."
Statement by Abbot Arnold Amaury before the massacre of Béziers during the Albigensian Crusade, recorded 30 years later, according to Cæsar of Heisterbach.

Nice group, them Christians...

I was so happy when I found out about Wicca, I found it to be more in tune with my values that catholicism. But also for a long time, I could not talk about it, because I would get those holy roller stares "you devil!". even now when I say I'm Wiccan I get either "never heard of it" or "devil worshiper!" mostly. I'm really glad on those few occasions when I meet Agnostics, Atheists, fellow Pagans, or even real Satanists. these people are far better company than X-tians.
