I don't know - I'm kind of a fan of the 3.5 ed.

When the 3rd Ed. came out was the time I put the old hobby to rest -- college began. I probably still remember a good bit of random knowledge from the 2nd Ed. I also have some 1st Ed. books as collectibles at home. Those are old skool!
