Victor Lemonte Wooten (born September 11, 1964) is an American virtuoso electric bass guitar player and is regarded by many of his peers as one of the finest players to emerge in the 1990s, if not of all time (he is sometimes reffered to as "the Michael Jordan of bass").

I saw him play an incredible 10-minute solo in 1992 with Bela Fleck & the Flecktones in West Palm Beach during the "Flight of the Cosmic Hippo" tour. Perhaps not the most passionate bass solo I've ever heard, but certainly the most flamboyant and virtuoso.
