Which sounds stupid to me. Hooking up is something railroad cars, not people, should be doing. Call it what it is-- casual sex. And people get what they deserve for treating it so.

Deserving a night of kick-ass, no-strings-attached, carnal enjoyment and another notch on the belt? That's a sense of entitlement I can get down with!

I got nothin' against a good roll in the hay. I just hate the turn of phrase.

Also, I hardly consider the risk of genital warts, chlamydia, AIDS, herpes, pregnancy, etc. "no-strings-attached". People are not for your use and disposal. If one just wants one's rocks off, well, one has two hands.

Yeah ... I don't know what happened with Grupthink, man. It seems like it used to be you could, like, make a little joke and it would be interpreted as such, and, like, that would be that. I miss those days.

Yeah, because someone who suggested that she be played by Gypsy Rose Lee or RuPaul in a movie about her life and voted for Fomunda as the best kind of cheese obviously has no sense of humor.

I fully expect that people will take things I say in jest on teh Intarweb will be worked over, too, but I don't winge about it, I saddle up and find the next amusing thing to vote on. So... Next!
