The question is more or less than single people. Married people have sex on average 3 times a week. I can't believe the average single person has 3 one night stands a week!

so are married people, but lets say people in a relationship... the word marriage is kind of scary. it makes me feel like someone owns me. faithfulness doesnt depend on a ring... & 3 times a week average... hmmm... why did i become single again... shoot

I realise now I was comparing single people, as in people not in a relationship, to married people. The question is ambiguous. Probably depending on where you are from.

Lots of conservative societies frown upon unmarried sex. If you'd take account of such societies, its definitely married people who are having the maximum sex.
