I was raised to ask questions, retain doubts, and be skeptical, and never confuse understanding with belief. I've witnessed enough differences over religions to conclude that what matters are not the details, stories, and even some practives, but rather, the meaning and guidance that people derive from them. Nor do I outright deny the possibility of truth behind religions, the truth is not the point. This is just how I was bought up, and how my life's experiences refined my understanding.
