looks more like a racer to me... not sure about the english term.. 'windhund' :-)

In the USA, Greyhounds are used for racing... Don't know if that's a variant of the windhound or not. But they run like the wind:

Maybe this is a greyhound, or similar breed. The body type looks close, color is darker than what I've seen on greyhounds though.

thats it! grey hound... they come in all sorts of colors.. i have seen black and white ones already... they are the sweetest dogs from character... they stay nice even if abused massively and are therefore great to take from rescue centeres. the best things about them is that they are actually couch potatoes and don't need to run around all day as people tend to think. A friend took his our once a day by riding a bike for 30 min and letting the dog run beside him.. for the rest he was happy with having a slow walk to sniff out the doggy papers and information posts :-)

if you look up the dogs for adoption top right you see different colors... if I ever have a garden again... I will get a couch potato :-)

Hobbit is correct, that a retired racing Greyhound (4 yrs in Colorado springs track)

you'll find pics of our Irish Wolfhound as well all over this site
