#1 Missoula. A place.Sort of.
In 1976, Missoula had a T-shirt design contest as part of the Bicentenniel celebration. The T-shirt with the above saying accompanied by a flying rotund platypus-like creature got second place. It has since been reproduced on thousands of T-shirts since then. No one really remembers what won first place. That\'s my story and I am sticking to it. Still can't find an image, though.

For about 18 bucks you can slip into Rockin' Rudy's and pick up one of the shirts and scan that bad boy into you computer. Then, put it on Grupthink and watch as RR's sell's a whole bunch to folks in far-a-way lands that are not nearly as cool and Moosedroola Montana! I'd do it, but I moved to Helena last year.
Aggh, I heard the artist wasn't ever compensated real ly whatsoever, and it's enriched said entrepreneur substantially. I suggest really not buying a shirt from them and maybe scrawling the word "Missoula" onto an existing shirt.
