Answer for: Which Style Of Recumbent Bike Is The Best?
#5 My experience is with Greenspeed 3-wheeler
GT-3, I believe. I was initially skeptical. It looked like a sissy bike, to me. But I was *very* surprised and impressed by the bike when I rode it. I rode about 25 miles through city roads and park paths.
Comfortable, fast, eliminates back strain as well as wrist / forearm stress (and numbness that I experience on a standard roadbike). Completely eliminates butt pain and related issues. Steering is surprisingly natural. And you can go forever without running out of gas.
Need to get used to being so low to the ground. As a consequence, you're not as visible to motor vehicles. Need to install LED's and other protective measures to ensure visibility.
The one deficiency I noticed is that if your feet slip off the pedals at speed and you allow your weight to create friction between your shoe and the pavement, your foot and lower leg can get sucked up under the front cross-member. This will really suck. Really suck. I would wear riding shoes with pedal clips (and install the corresponding pedals, of course) to reduce risk of that.

And I should have asked: did you get one?
