Quick and easy convenience consumerism for the masses. "Feed me! Feed me!"
in b4 "why do u h8 the earth?'
in b4 the showing of full size
But seriously... The consequences of supporting brutality and exploitation don't even come in to play when you spend your money?
So your question really is: "What ethical criteria do you apply (if any) when decided who to buy from?" Because the money will probably be spent... The question is "with whom?". Or do I mis-interpret your topic...?
Criter(ia)/(ion) for spending money includes the selection of whom you are giving money to.
That was my intention, anyhow.
Right. I sort of got the topic and the "counter consumption" answer inter-twined. Alles klar.
I kind of think that anyone who doesn't vote for this answer is a liar.
I'll go out of my way to buy from -- for example -- an independent book store as opposed to Barnes and Noble or Border's. So even though my sampling of one is inconclusive, it argues against categorical conclusions.
