She has concerts here in New York from time to time. Last time I saw her, there were only EIGHT people in the audience. I helped her load out and ended up having dinner with her and her son, Andres!

How is the Missoula scene? It seems like a pretty remote place. What kind of shows do you get out there?

Over yonder in the Missoula Grup, the "Best Show of 06'" topic ( http://www.grupthink.com/topic/2651 ) includes Greg Davis, Sebastian Roux, Birdshow, The Melvins, Wolf Eyes, Poor School, Beach House, Japanther, Sonic Youth, Cex, Wilderness, Magnolia Electric Co., Neptune, and Modeselektor. In short, pretty damned alright for a town this size, that's for certain.

I thought of you the other day - I was at this gallery showing where an artist was playing a work on his circuit bent toys! There was much Furby, Mr. T and talking Ernest P. Worrell dolls to me had!
