Grupie points can be used to moderate questions and answers, either up (+) or down (-). At a certain threshold, the question or answer would be removed or hidden.

Yeah, slashdot style, in my opinion.

However, mod points need to be based less on voting and more on answer/topic/comment quality.

Otherwise, everyone would create a bunch of alts, to knock their primary handle's GT points up.
