This movie is in no way the worse movie ever. I can understand some people not liking it though very many did. It gets the most votes here because it is the BIGGEST name movie on the list. Come on people put your vote in on something that is truly horrible like Cat in the Hat. Not on this to show how cool you are by putting down one of the biggest box office movies of all time.
I have no problem with the budget. There are plenty of big budget films I love. I was quite simply bowled over by how inept this was. But that's just my opinion. You're entitled to yours, but please don't assume that pretension or hipsterness is the reason for others disliking this film.
I still see that answer as bullshit. You are saying in the history of the world there has never been a movie as bad as this one? No way in hell.
Well I think it was incredibly bad, but there are certainly worse films. Daredevil, for instance. The action scenes were diverting, so that's a positive. I don't rank it as worst in this poll, and I don't think that too many people did.
It was a huge release and a lot of people saw it, a lot of whom didn't like it. That's why this is listed as number one in this poll, not because everyone who voted for it listed it as absolutely worst.

OK some progress here. It is pretty obvious that you hate Ben Affleck as you have mentioned two of his movies allready. Daredevil was pretty lame in a lot of ways but the evanescence soundtrack IMO saved it. Back to Pearl Harbor. It is fair to say it sucked even but saying worse movie of all time IMO is just so over the top and now I see you did not say that. My point is many people will call movies the worse of all time if it is a big hit movie just to be cool. My best guess is their might even be a worse movie than the Cat in the Hat but I just havent seen it. Have you seen Cat in the Hat. I don't recommend you do but if you want to be qualified to vote on this poll you need to see it.
Ha! I completely blanked on the Affleck connection! I kind of like him actually, although I think he's made a lot of bad role choices. He's fine in both Pearl Harbor and Daredevil. It's the movies around him that bite.
I haven't seen Cat In The Hat, although I've heard horrible things. I'm curious if it's worse than Alone In The Dark. That movie, or any of Uwe Boll's movies, would have been a better (and unrelated) example than Daredevil.
I agree that this movie completely sucked. Ben Afleck is talent-free and that's why most of his movies bomb. He and Josh Hartnett came off as two "slacker" generation neo yuppies transported to 1941. Did you see the part where the kids playing baseball looked up to see the zeros flying in? What kid ever played baseball at 7:30 am???!! Also, there were roses blooming in the White House garden. In the middle of winter??!!!
