I am not going to get into the details of the accident, but I was in an accident and I was not at fault. The police, as well as the other driver said that the other driver was at fault. My insurance company, State Farm, disagreed and said that I was at fault. This is so weird to me. Anyway, after that I cancelled my policy with State Farm and got insurance elsewhere. I had been a customer with State Farm since I was 16 (about 8 years) and my parents had been for at least 10 years before that. I don't understand why they said I was at fault. They wouldn't have even had to pay for the claim, the other insurance company would. But they said if I officially reported it to them, my insurance premiums would go up. Again, it just doesn't make any since why they would do this. So after telling this story to quite a few people, I've come to find out that almost every person I talked to that had State Farm Insurance or knew someone with State Farm Insurance had a similar story to tell. I don't understand what the point of having insurance is, if your insurance company isn't going to pay for any claims. I feel like State Farm is only there to rip off it's customers by stealing their money. If they take your money for a service and then fail to provide you with that service, isn't that very similar to stealing?
