Common nouns don't become proper nouns just because they're significant to the meaning of your sentence.

Ahh, yes, that is a more relevant grup.
and, i'm perfectly comfortable w informal language, and laziness, to a degree. but, there's no point saying "iz" instead of "is" except to be "cool", and, more to the point, people should know the difference between possessive & plural, and have their "there"s straight. there's just no excuse not to.

BTW I requested membership to the Proper Police grup so I could move this topic, but the admin appears to be an infrequent visitor so I haven't been accepted.

I did kind of get that impression. So now I've made a grup, but apparently I can't edit the grup affiliation of a topic... Arg.
