I had an impromptu past life reading at a party. The psychic said I was an ass hole in my recent past life. She said I was a slave owner in the Southern US. I died before the Civil War. That previous life is the antithesis of my current life.

Do you have any memories of that? I ask because I've never felt like I had a past life. I HAVE felt that I am much older than I am. Like... hundreds or thousands of years old. But that is just a feeling not a memory.
No memory of that past life, yet I was obsessed with the Civil War, and I was a re-enactor, but I was a Yankee.
I did manage to meditate once and get images of a past life, it was one of a Naive American. I suck at meditation, I find it difficult to keep my mind quiet.
To O.: unlike most of us, of course, to whom meditation comes naturally, lol!
To G: Really interesting. Can you elaborate just a little on this life's being the antithesis? I don't want to invade privacy.
Artemis. I have had feelings of past knowledge through spontaneous wisdom of music. I pick instruments up and in a short period of time I "know" how to make them sound pleasing.
I've met strangers and have had friends who had past lives. But to me, anything that takes the power out of NOW is a distraction.
I tend to agree- sensible of you. Fascinating, though; and if there's any justice in the universe, reincarnation is the only thing that makes sense to me.
