Ok, then which denomination would you like to perform your funeral?
Wow... that was pretty dang rude... Not to mention intolerant and hateful, but especially rude to the poster of the question.
Religion freedom means I have the right to be an atheist. And if you have the right to try to convince me, I have the right to try to convince you, too.

It would be intolerant and hateful if the answer read: "I'd sooner kill <someone else> "
But seriously, I can imagine that some humans, in our history have chosen death over having to verbally accept a government-sanctioned religion.
Jesus Christ for example
Jesus was a Jew. Not a very good Jew, he basically told people not to follow the preestablished laws of Judaism, but he followed the main tenets of the religion relatively well. Further, the Jewish religion was not "government-sanctioned" since the government at the time was Roman (pagan) and wouldn't have sanctioned the Jewish religion at all.
A better example of people dying in order to avoid accepting a government-sanctioned religion is the Spanish Inquisition where thousands of Jews and Muslims were put to death instead of accepting Catholicism.
I don't think my comment was rude at all. I gave my honest answer. If forced to choose a christian denomination (and when I consider forced to choose I always assume the alternative is death) I would rather kill myself than choose. Is it fair that I should have to try to stuff myself in an organized religion box rather than be myself? Not at all. I don't think it was anymore intolerant than saying "I wouldn't" which really is the case right?
