This did last until the first day that Bush was in office; then they lied about the Clinton Staffers stealing all the 'W' keys.

Imagine a man stepping on your foot. This man will not apologize for it... and will even deny that he is stepping on your foot. Should the media intervene, he will tell lies and make excuses about it.
He knows that eventually you will get used to the pain, and forget about it since you have to lead your life and go to work. In hopes that the two of you will become "friends".
