I don't support the politically correct tendencies in Grupthink, I am just aware of the tempests that have happened and thus I am cautious of proper phrasing.

As in the case of your picture, which usually goes with the caption:

"Whassup my niggaz?"

You are a naughty person and I make so bold as to suggest that you were laughing up your sleeve when you posted this. I'm right aren't I? I am.

You may be right about propriety. But sometimes I think people simply see a word, it triggers an angry reaction and they stop reading and just hit the thumbs down icon. It is laziness. In fact, I think you could put a topic heading like, "Blacks are inherently stupid" and then go on to say that this was a quote from a thoroughly unpleasant right wing and biased psychologist and you don't believe it for a moment. But you would get negative points from anti-racists who never got past the heading. That annoys me intensely. And it is not just the left who can be lazy - the right wingers can too. It is just sloppy thinking and silly, reactive emotion improperly directed.

Reflex reactions can’t account for all the poor ratings given to those who express opinions that can offend some sensitive people. These sensitive people sometimes bother to defend their opinions with words yet most express their hate with the convenient anonymity of modding down. Few people are enlightened enough to genuinely love all human endeavors, it natural and should be accepted. Yet should one express an opinion on grupthink that does not support a select genre of art form, then it will activate a number of grupies to modd down that opinion. Should one be concerned about their “cred” rating, honesty suffers for the sake of harmony.

I can only hope to one day be enlightened enough to love genocide and rape, perhaps I should be eating TWO hemp seeds a day...

Pejorative interpretation of endeavor is rare and may be improper.

en·deav·or (µn-dµv“…r) n. 1. A conscientious or concerted effort toward an end; an earnest attempt. 2. Purposeful or industrious activity; enterprise.

Does this work for you, Skrrrriti? “ . . . all sanguine human endeavors, . . .”

sure fine
I was just giving you a hard time, for in the past you have expressed contempt for some forms of artistic endeavor, hardly enlightened by your definition. And considering the theme of intolerance has been in these comments, it seemed as if you were suggesting it was a sanguine endeavor to be accepted and not criticized if one were truly enlightened. Anywhoo, I am sure some folks did consider genocide a hopeful endeavor.

This topic has a little negative feedback, but it wasn't modded down to oblivion and didn't create an uproar:

No, I see it didn't. There was lot of mud slinging but that is OK. I don't see the problem in either arguing soundly for or against something or just saying FUCK OFF YOU PIECE OF DOG CRAP - depends on the mood one is in and what the other person said. And it is fine if they do that to me. But I just hate it when modding down (I'm so pleased I know what that means now) happens and I suspect it was triggered by a single word and the modder has not bothered to read what I have had to say. That is just a pile of shite.
