Fabulous - I have the design and the seamstress. Now all I need is a color.
I found my dharma trading company magazine, too. I think you may have to dye the fabric if you want to have a colored dress. Personally, I like the natural hue of hemp silk!

Isn't hemp fabric awfully scratchy?
Only if it's that gimmicky raw hemp shit that most stores sell. Hemp can look and feel as soft as any cotton when processed the same way, though it's a lot harder to market as hemp.
Oh, I didn't know that. Until now, I associated hemp with three things - getting jelly brained, ropes for tying things up and hanging people. On second thoughts, using it as wedding dress material fits in really quite well with what I thought it was used for before.
