To all those atheists, agnostics, deists, pantheists, Wiccans, Muslims, Jews, and everything in between come on down and let us know why you are not a Christian. Need a little something to get the ball rolling? Let's ask Bertrand Russell: http://www.positiveatheism.org/hist/russell0.htm

I don't have a problem with Christianity, it's Christians that bother me. The percentage of them that are nothing close to Actual Christians bothers me too much to adhere to the faith myself. [show less]

any of the arguments for God's existence can be exccluded by a mere examination of the facts and don't get me started on the irrationality of believing in something that can cause war and wanton destruction over words written in boring books when their is no rational proof for it [show less]
So far on this webpage the biggest religious arguments I've been involved in are over the historicity of Jesus and the countering what I believe to be very bad arguments from design. If you are referring to my atheist activism elsewhere, it's because I care. Besides Atheism is not Anti-God, it's anti theists.
While I could rant all day about my views concerning atheist activism, let's ask Col Robert Green Ingersoll:
"In short, every virtue has been a crime, and every crime a virtue. The church has burned honesty and rewarded hypocrisy. And all this, because it was commanded by a book â a book that men had been taught implicitly to believe, long before they knew one word that was in it. They had been taught that to doubt the truth of this book â to examine it, even â was a crime of such enormity that it could not be forgiven, either in this world or in the next."
"Heaven was the reward for belief and hell the destination of the denier. All the forces of what we call society, were directed against investigation. Every avenue to the mind was closed. On all the highways of thought, Christians placed posts and boards, and on the boards were the words "No Thoroughfare," "No Crossing." The windows of the soul were darkened -- the doors were barred. Light was regarded as the enemy of mankind."

you forgot to add, "it's just too boring" ;)
What about all that snake handling and creation museums? Those might be exciting.
You can also tell the world why you're a Christian by going here:http://www.grupthink.com/topic/10185
Friar Zero, I am interested by the fact that you have posted several answers, but have not voted for any of them.
I also perceive that you seem to spend a large amount of time seeking to disprove what you say does not exist. . . Why would you do this?

Whoops, already too long.
