Disclaimer: I'm quite certain that scientology is a crock of horseshit, and I'm not affiliated with the scientology in any way. Having said that, why declare an all-out offensive against scientologists? What have they done to incur the Internet's ire?
Sure there are plenty of individuals who feel like they've "lost" a son or daughter to the religion|cult|whatever, but that's as much an issue with the brainwashee as it is an issue with the brainwasher. Either way, it surely isn't the whole Internet that's suffered such a loss.
Likewise, they've tried to repress the dissemination of the secrets of their religion. Granted it's a dick move, but any other entity would try to do the same with their own private information. Imagine what Coke would do if their secret recipe got out, or how you would feel if someone hax0red your PC and started posting your Internet history chock full of goatse pr0n all over the place. My point is, people have a right to privacy, regardless of how fucked up their secrets are.
The bottom line is, if you compare them to other religions such as Christianity, Islam, Judeasim, or the Most Holy Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, Scientologists rank pretty low on the dick-o-meter. Last I checked no wars have been fought in the name of Xenu. Scientologists haven't tried to get thetans taught in school.

This trick people to think that they are a group of intelligent thinkers when in reality they are just a bunch of over protective cult members that believe in touch healing and doesn't believe in psychiatric medicine. This is completely opposite to what studies of science (Scientology) really means. In libraries you can go the extra mile by binding the material and labelling it with it's number and 'do not borrow' tag. That way pesky librarians won't take it out. Put it in a very visible section if possible.
With the free newspapers just put them in a pile next to it. Have some nice graphics or headlines.
With bulletin boards just roam you community centre, university, school, etc and tack on a sheet. If it gets taken down put it back up.

When I first heard about the Chanonymous Jihad, my first thought was, "Hey, punk! Let's you and him step outside and fight!" 4chan sucks. The CoS really sucks. So watching the two of them tear into each other seems like a win-win situation. Scientology finally has an opponent that it can't really harass. ANONYMOUS will be pulling its retarded self-important pranks on someone who deserves it, giving thousands of innocent furfags, emo kids, and fatties some much-needed peace. How could this possibly be bad?
But this might be the start of something really bad. I'd love to see the Church ****ed over a barrel, but I'm not sure I want to give a swarm of angry teenagers that kind of sense of power. This time, they picked something really evil. Next time, they'll pick some groups that's lulzworthy but not really hurting anyone. And they'll **** that to death with the same enthusiasm.
Meanwhile, they're gonna find out that suddenly, yeah, the Internet IS Serious Business. This ****'s making national news. Nobody with any kind of real-world power is gonna like the idea that a horde of nameless script kiddies can bring down a multinational, multimillion dollar corporation and not even be traced.
