Thanks for the comment, very helpfull.
I do realise that 65% of people who try to run their own business will fail, although I have been successful enough to replace my salary as a media technician. I get up in the morning to look after the kids and we have fun all day and night. It isn't hard to make it work you just have to be consistent and try harder every day, I must say though I wouldn't let anyone onto my team who didn't have a clue about business in the first place as they would become part of the "processed meat industry", which you so elegantly referred to this as. I have just returned from a focus group in which 5 distributors were chosen from around 2000 and we set the standards for our future including promotion, retention and the best ways to help people who are new to the business, so they can become successful.
I have been in business for about 1 year so I pray that I will not become pocessed meat.
But I can always return to work if it doesn't work out for me and the bonus cheque I get isnt large enough to pay mortgage etc which is the reason for doing this and what I have seen is that people who do not succeed in this business, pretty much don't succeed at anything, yes theyre have been mistakes along the way but to learn from them is what makes us better people.
