Begining:
Bob was never a really bright boy, and today was no exception. Carrying a backpack full of potatoes, six pieces of raspery gum, and a rubber golf club, Bob decided to tackle the haunted woods outside his town. Golf club limply waving as he skipped down the dirt trail entering the woods, Bob noticed that it was starting to get dark, which tends to be unusual around noon on sunny summer days. Suddenly, ahead, bushes and trees began to shake violently.
"Oh shit." said Bob.

"You might well say "Oh shit" said the vampire from Golgoria (a planet five galaxies away from ours) as he stepped out of the trees.
"I have parked my ship over this wood as I noticed it had warm and juicy beings in it and you are the tastiest of the lot. Come to me my perfect darling and let me relieve you of your sad and tedious life".
Bob said, "Not fucking likely you crazy bloodsucker" as he pelted the vampire with sticks of raspberry gum. " I have a life ahead of me and I intend to be President some day".
The vampire started and said, "Republican or Democrat?" Bob answered, "Republican".
The vampire recoiled in horror and with a disdainful flick of the wrist, leaped into his spaceship saying, "I have my pride and there are limits. You would leave a sour taste you revolting child and I only like sweet meat".
With that, the vampire disappeared into his ship and sped away leaving Bob wondering what it would have been like to have bled just a little for the fascinating creature form Golgoria.
"Oh my, maybe I made a mistake", he sighed as he trotted off on his way through the woods towards the house of the BIG BAD WOLF, the stupid little jerk. As he walked, a bad smell assaulted his nostrils and
put as an answer not a comment!
clarification please: are we adding to the story from "Oh, shit" or are we adding from the answer previous to ours?
...and if continuing from the previous answer, would it be better to include a number at the start of your answer a la http://www.grupthink.com/topic/11492 ?
"from the most recent post". I think we are supposed to continue the story - sounds like good fun, so whoever goes next starts where I ended:

I feel each new section should relate in some way to previous sections written by other people. I continued the walk through the woods and used the sticks of raspberry gum got from Jasmith42's beginning section. Bob is currently headed for the home of the BIG BAD WOLF. He doesn't need to get there (or he can get there - whatever the next person decides) but some sort of reference needs to be made so that the whole thing hangs together - good continuity is key I think.
We're adding to the previous answer. Putting a number in the answer title is a great idea. Continuity is good, but the point is fun. The cues are there to be silly and clever with. What exactly Can you do with 'taters and a limp golf club?
