How offensive do you find bad taste in interior design?

You walk into the home of a person you met recently to discover a flowered dralon sofa, swirly carpet and clashing, mixed fibre curtains with naff tie backs. The furniture is all cheap pine and cute little pottery cats adorn most surfaces. The colour combinations are dire and vibrant - looks like someone has been sick over everything.

You know the sort of thing.

Can you tell us of a similar bad taste experience? How did it make you feel?
