That's right grupies and gruplemen.
Summer is on and the rivers are starting to look fine.
That means it's time to setup the next Grupthink river float.
Please submit answers with days and/or locations and we can vote on the locations and/or days that seem the best.
Don't miss out on getting your official Grupthink sunburn!

ok that topic picture is one of the most scary things i've ever seen. right up there with tubgirl and goat.se.cx. srsly. that is to say i find it EXTREMELY HAWT! HOLLA!!!!!!!
Really? I didn't think it was THAT bad.
Not that it makes a difference to anyone, but I probably won't make it to a float whenever it is.
But I'll meet up with y'all for the after-float drinks so you can recognize me when I'm out on the street (for the purpose of throwing things at me).
Not much of a floater or just allergic to water?
Nah, I'm more of a sinker. :)
I don't skinny dip... I chunky dunk.
as long as its b4 7/20 I can make it, otherwise not until 8/11, fwiw
Add up an answer then, fool!
meh. I'm faaarr too lazy for that.
Might want to wait a bit on this one. The rivers are still extremely high; much more so than usual, in fact.

Man dies in rafting accident
By JOE NICKELL of the Missoulian
"McMeekin said the accident indicates just how dangerous area rivers remain, as late runoff and an unusually heavy winter snowpack have kept flows high and water temperatures low. The Blackfoot River near Bonner, for example, was running at 4,020 cubic feet per second on Sunday - more than 50 percent above the long-term median flow of 2,660 for June 29."
When do you figure the Blackfoot will be low enough to safely float?
Well, the end of July may be alright -- we'll have to wait and see. I know people are out on it already, but personally, I'll probably be hitting it at the beginning of August (depending on the outside temperature, most likely).
I will be in Miles City at a convention the 25th and 26th. :( Maybe sometime in August?
skrrriti has the same prob, and it sounds like the river will be too high in late July anyhow - How about you add a new answer with a date that works well for you?
This Sunday, Aug 24th, it is! We'll be meeting at Caras park at noon to arrange car pooling. Everyone is welcome. Hope to see you there!
oh well, sry can't make it bby shwr, lol have fun
