Upon reading this question... I thought I might be clever to name a drink a "Car Accident".
"Yo! Bartender... Let me have a Car Accident"
It would have to be a very strong mix drink of course.
Recipie for a Car Crash (http://www.drinksmixer.com/drink10087.html)
1 oz Southern Comfort® peach liqueur
1 oz amaretto almond liqueur
7 oz sweet and sour mix
7 oz orange juice
1 dash grenadine syrup
Pour the Southern Comfort and amaretto almond liqueur into a collins glass over 1 or2 ice cubes. Fill the glass with 1/2 sweet and sour mix and 1/2 orange juice. Top with grenadine, and serve.
Recipie for a Car Wreck (http://www.drinksmixer.com/drinkp13q047.html)
2 oz Absolut® vodka
1 dash Bacardi® 151 rum
1 oz Chambord® raspberry liqueur
1 oz peach schnapps
2 - 3 oz orange juice
2 - 3 oz pineapple juice
Build over ice in a hurricane glass, filling with equal parts pineapple and orange juice. Float 151 rum on top.
Neither of those sound terribly bad; I was expecting something horrible like Jaegermeister, Baileys, gin, and nothing else.
I dunno chromigula, a "Car Crash" sounds pretty fucking gross SoCo peach liqueur? Almond liqueur? Lemme guess, the car that crashes is a Baby Blue new VW bug convertable.
Don't get me wrong, *I* wouldn't drink one. But on the scale of "cocktail tastiness" I'd probably place it closer to a cosmo than a tapeworm based on the ingredients. Like I said, I was expecting it be more like a Jaeger, gin, and Bailey's (I like Bailey's, but was thinking along the lines of the three worst things to be in a glass together).
