The correct answer is "anything cuban".

Something about oppression gives intoxicants a higher quality. Colombian drug lords produce the best cocaine. Stalinist Russia produced the best vodka. Afghanistan has some of the finest poppy fields. It's often said Germany makes the best beer. I'll bet you that the best year for Irish whiskey is during the revolution.
