what genre of game? fps? rts? rpg? different engines!

I'm more focused upon 3D engines. Most can be used for both, though I'm sure there are some engines that are better than some. But if you know of an engine throw it up. I can make a more specific game engine topic later.

Really the only one I think you'd be able to obtain *as an engine* would be Torque. The others are far too expensive, but you could probably build a mod to them.

Actually Reality Engine, and Wild magic appear to both be free! Though the main purpose of this poll was to find out what game engines are out there.
