I was in a bank in Little Rock, AR just asking directions and two men burst in waving guns around and yelling for everyone to get down... I got down on the floor immediately but one guy didn't do it quickly enough and got shot about 20ft away from me... scariest moment of my life... the guy who did the shooting was standing over me as he took the money... literally straddling me... I kept waiting for a bullet to the back of the head... The man who got shot didn't die, I found out later... I get nervous just thinking about it again... [show less]

The poor lady didn\'t have any clothes left, and nearly all her skin had melted away. She was still consious though walking around in circls screaming. Thankfully 6 guys chased down the husband and he was arrested. She later died in the Hospital.

Later learned through the newspaper there were some custody issues. [show less]

A few weeks ago, I was in a convenience store when it was being held up. After he got his money, the robber dropped his weapon and ran, at which point, the little old lady that owned the place picked up the gun and ran after him. They ran through six lanes of New York traffic, the lady trying to get her money back from the guy. All of us witnesses chase after her to make sure she doesn't get hurt OR murder this guy. She finally corners the guy, tosses the RUBBER GUN and proceeds to beat him with her shoes. Amazing. Only in New York. [show less]

On a Sunday morning around 9 am when I was 16 years old, my father had come home from work and was followed by two men in their early 20's. When my father drove onto the driveway, the car that was following him stopped and one guy got out of the car and asked my father if he could mow our yard. My father declined and my 9 year old brother came out to greet my dad at the same time. Suddenly, the other man got out of the car and grabbed my baby brother by the hair and put a gun to his temple and told my father that if he did not give him his money that he would shoot my brother's brains out. My dad immediately gave him his money bag and the guy threw my brother to the ground. My brother started vomiting as a result of the threat.

My brother is the one who has suffered from this traumatic experience. He experienced severe anxiety, hatred of black men, got into drugs and alcohol,
and even went to jail for awhile. He's doing a little bit better now after spending time in intensive therapy from post-traumatic stress disorder.

One of the guys finally got caught and was sent to prison while the other guy is still out there. [show less]
