Diddy wants to be the first black James Bond. Do you agree, or do you have a better choice?

My problem, of which there is many!, is that James Bond is British and works for the British Government under the guise of M.I.6 (foreign secret services). So while PDiddy would want to play Mr Bond it’s just not feasible. Now he could always play Bourne, who is a C.I.A. spy!

Just a thought!

There aren't British black people?
Black people cannot work for M.I.6?

Still, PDiddy could never pull off the accent.

I didn't mean for the comment to be negative. Yes there are black people in the UK and i guess there are some that work for MI6 - i dont know anyone so can not comment. I think what I wanted to point out was that many of the answers are of black Americans, and as good as the actors are they are not British!!

You can fake accents, ya know. Best example: Hugh Laurie as Greg House.

Granted, but...
It stinks, it's really bad, and I like Hugh!
But that accent is rubbish!
Personally I think the first Black Bond should be British, or Scottish. I guess Irish is aloud if you take P.Brosnon! Although I know less Black Irish men then I do Black Spooks!
It's just a thought

Hugh Laurie's American accent is good. I've heard a lot of fake American ones too...
You are right though about him being British. There's just not a huge selectiono f already known black British actors that would be a good Bond.
What about the guy from Spooks? Is he on this list?

Bond wasn't black in Fleming's books, why would he be black in movies? That'd be like John Goodman playing Fat Albert, it wouldn't make sense.

I should be the black James Bond(called Brady.) I'm a handsome
black Canadian,55 July 6,but said to look 35,built like an NFL
running back gotten a bit beefy(5'9'',224 lb.),and instead of a
British accent,I speak with a rather distinctive bray.Yes,I should
be the black lad to play Bond,er,Brady.
