What was the best in-flight meal you've ever eaten?

(Yes, that's a real bento box from Hello Kitty Airlines.)

What's the best in-flight meal you've been served on an airplane?

DON'T include food you've brought on board from home or from restaurants outside or in the terminal. Yes, we get it. Airline food sucks. Try not to be such a point whore.

I know you all dread the stuff they put in front of you, but you do come across an in-flight meal that makes you say, "hey, that was actually edible." In my personal experience it seems to happen more often on airlines based in Asia.

Personally, I miss the silverware. I need something to defend my fellow passengers against would be hi-jackers, and oh yeah, to cut my food.

No such in-flight meal comes to mind.

I can't remember. If I'm trying this hard, then it probably wasn't worth it.

Filet Mignon

Accompanied by a never-empty glass of red and a made-at-your-seat sundae. United First Class to Tokyo. I highly recommend having family members that work for airlines.
