If we are going to ask the world to answer a question lets hope that we can get something better than "Who is your favorite sports team?"
How about, What is the greatest moment of triumph in your life? Or, What was your greatest tragedy? How is the ability to ask the world going to improve our ability to think?Maybe it wont. Maybe we cant see past the sports teams and favorite brands of beer?

Good point. I'm having a hard time coming up with a good question that will have important, far reaching impacts.

I am too but I see the potential. I hope that there are some people out there who are much wiser than me. If the world had a forum to think together and to compile their thoughts could we do anything with it? I guess we will find out. At the very least we will find out who likes pepsi and who likes coke!

Hmm... despite there being a number of good questions in this poll, I don't think things like "How does teleportation work?" would ever get a right answer. By working together we're increasing the RAM, but not the CPU (sorry for the PC analogy). If the smartest individual minds can't solve these problems, how will more minds make a difference?
