A lecturer position in my field just came up in Trinidad, anyone have anything positive or negative to say about living there, in St. Augustine just outside Port of Spain?
We used to move a lot of people there. I used to work for an international relocation service that had mostly oil company contracts. PoS was where everyone went. I didn't hear any complaints, but I didn't hear anything impressive either. Apparently it's better than Lagos and Angola.
well, if its better than Angola....;)
thanks for the tip, I'm also applying for a position in France, which I would probably prefer, what with its standard of living and inexpensive fights to Martinique
I know a few people that have lived in both of those places and the only thing i can say is ... don't. if it wasn't obvious.
my friend hated angola so much that her husband "commutes" between here and there.
if you move to france i will be incredibly jealous.
despite what a lot of people (that i know) think french people are nice.
one of these days i'll get back to france. :)
